The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) announces that, in order to improve user’ access to the services provided, starting from July 1, 2020, the option for online filing of appeals against notices of provisional refusal and decisions issued with respect to international trademarks, which extend their effects on the territory of the Republic of Moldova based on the Madrid System for the International Registration of Marks.

In order to optimize the interaction with the interested persons, the necessary changes were made in the Trademarks section of the e-AGEPI service. Thus, it became possible to use the forms Application for the Examination of an Appeal to the Notice of Provisional Refusal of a Trademark Registration Application and Application for the Examination of an Appeal to the Decision on the Trademark Registration Application and for the applications received through the Madrid system. At the same time, additional materials can be downloaded in scanned form to the section of submitted documents.

The adjustment of the services was made in the context of the existing epidemiological situation, as well as the requests received from the users of AGEPI services.
