European Union Commission declared the year 2009 - European Year of Creativity and Innovation, titled “Imagine. Create. Innovate”. During the year there will take place activities to promote creative activity results both at European and national, regional and local level.

In the given context, the Republican Contest “Library - a partner in promoting intellectual property”, that reached the third edition, is to encourage participating libraries to promote innovative approaches in any field of activity, stimulating thinking by supporting technical information performance, leading to economic advancement and prosperity of society. The Contest organizers are the State Agency on Intellectual Property and Library Association of Moldova.

The contest will take place between April 1, 2009 to April 26, 2010.
