On current December 11, there took place the IX Assembly of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, in the frame of which there was elected the new structure of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and of the Supreme Counsel on Science and Technologic Development of ASM (CSSDT).

According to the provisions of the Code on science and innovations of the RM, President of ASM proposed the candidatures of leaders of the Academy and new structure of the Supreme Counsel on Science and Technologic Development for the following 4 years. At the secret vote there were reelected: in quality of the prime-vice-president of ASM – the acad. Teodor Furdui, vice-president – m.c. Ion Tighineanu, vice-president – dr. hab. Mariana Slapac. The Supreme Body of the leaders of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova will be formed of 78 doctors habilitate and 102 academicians and corresponding members of ASM.

In the structure of the Supreme Counsel on Science and Technologic Development entered 5 persons of the ASM leaders. Moreover, by the secret election in the structure of CSSDT there were designated acad. Boris Gaina, m.c. Leonid Culiuc, acad. Ion Bostan, acad. Ion Ababii, dr. hab. Ana-Maria Plamadeala, m.c. Grigore Belostecinic, dr. hab. Irina Condrea, dr. hab. Vasile Marina, dr. Dorian Chirosca, dr. Andrei Popa, dr. Alexandru Rosca.
