The Leaders of the Ministry of Justice, on a Visit to AGEPI

02/26/2026

On February 26, the employees of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) were greeted by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Moldova, Vladislav Cojuhari.

The meeting, held at the headquarters of AGEPI, was occasioned by the recent changes made by the Government regarding the organization and functioning of the specialized central public administration, as a result of which the State Agency on Intellectual Property was reorganized by migrating from the subordination of the Government to the subordination of the Ministry of Justice starting with January 1, 2026.

During the event, the Minister of Justice introduced Mr. Dumitru Vleju, recently appointed as State Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, with responsibilities for coordinating the field of intellectual property.

The two dignitaries emphasized the strategic role of the national intellectual property office in ensuring an efficient framework for the legal protection of intellectual property rights and expressed their willingness to strengthen institutional cooperation in order to promote and implement public policies in the field of competence of the agency.

At the same time, the Minister of Justice expressed his high appreciation for the employees of AGEPI, who, through professionalism and dedication, contribute to the development of a functional intellectual property system and ensure the implementation of the commitments assumed by the Republic of Moldova within the framework of the European integration process.

In turn, the Deputy Director of AGEPI, Natalia Mogol, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to continue developing the intellectual property protection system in line with the European integration objectives of the Republic of Moldova and thanked the Ministry of Justice for its openness and support.
