The Latvian Patent Office (LPO) is organizing on May 21st the International Conference “Intellectual Property - Vision without Illusion”, on the occasion of 100th anniversary of the establishment of the institution. This event was initially planned to take place in Riga, but due to COVID-19 pandemic it has been changed to a webinar and will be streamed online.

On behalf of the Latvian Office, the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) invites anyone interested to attend the online conference “Intellectual Property - Vision without Illusion”.

During the event you will have the opportunity to hear a wide range of experts from the intellectual property (IP) field, who will be sharing their experience and knowledge about the role of IP in economic growth and also in other adjacent areas. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and exchange views with world-class experts from such institutions as the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the European Patent Office (EPO), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), etc.

The conference is public, without prior registration, the event being streamed LIVE via the Sli.do platform.
