Intellectual Property Training Session for Young Lawyers

09/11/2023

Young lawyers and trainee lawyers, participants of the “Academy of Young Lawyers” project, participated on September 11, this year, in a training session with the main title “Intellectual Property - Legal Framework and Challenges”, organized by the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) and the Public Association “Action for Justice” (AFJ), in partnership with the Association of Young Lawyers.

The participants in this training session were welcomed by Natalia Mogol, Deputy Director General of AGEPI, who emphasized the importance of this event for the development of legal knowledge and skills of young lawyers and trainee lawyers.

The session included a lesson presented by Andrei Moisei, principal consultant in the Communication and Training Division of AGEPI, focusing in particular on legal aspects and management of industrial property objects. He provided participants with a detailed insight into the legal regime of intellectual property and how it can be effectively managed.

The Deputy Director General of AGEPI, Natalia Mogol, brought up for discussion the aspects related to the legal framework and the particularities of trademark protection, emphasizing their importance in the world of business and innovation.

Regarding copyright, the Director General of AGEPI, Eugeniu Rusu, shared both theoretical and practical aspects, highlighting the important role this field plays in protecting intellectual creation.

The training session held at AGEPI offered the participants of the “Academy of Young Lawyers” project a valuable opportunity to familiarize themselves with the national intellectual property protection system and to understand in depth its importance for the development of society and the economy.

We remind you that AGEPI and the Public Association “Action for Justice” signed a Cooperation Agreement in the field of intellectual property in May, with the object of consolidating efforts and effectively using the intellectual and material potential that both parties have.
