Climathon Moldova 2024 took place on April 25-26, in Chisinau, an event that generated innovative ideas for climate challenges.
Through captivating presentations and brainstorming sessions, participants focused on major issues such as energy efficiency and sustainable transport.
One aspect addressed during the event was the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. Andrei Moisei, Principal Consultant within the Communication and Training Division, State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), provided a detailed perspective on this area, emphasizing the importance of protecting innovations in the fight against climate change.
Climathon Moldova 2024 also offered participants the opportunity to get involved in the GCIP Moldova Competition, 2024 edition, and to access the GCIP Business Accelerator. This accelerator is a tool for innovative entrepreneurs, providing them with support and guidance for the development and implementation of sustainable solutions.
Thus, the Republic of Moldova joined the global Climathon movement, whose goal is to involve citizens in combating climate change. The Climathon is a marathon of ideas, bringing together enthusiasts, experts and leaders from around the world to develop innovative solutions to climate change issues.
