In the period of 18-20 February this year, Balti hosted the specialized exhibitions-fairs “AGROTEH” and “ALIMENTAR-EXPO”, fifteenth edition, and the Exhibition “Martisor”, sixth edition, which took place inside the National Theatre “Vasile Alecsandri” and outside it.
Organizers of these activities were the Balti affiliated branch, CCI of the RM and the Mayoralty of Balti Municipality.

In the exhibitions-fairs participated 39 economic agents from different localities of the republic: Chisinau and Balti municipalities, Sangerei, Ungheni, Ialoveni, Falesti, Rascani districts, Edinet and Rabnita towns. On an area of over 300 m2 were placed the stands of companies and enterprises in the agro-food field, other economic branches (textiles, cosmetics, perfumery, jewelry, etc.), which present to visitors the agricultural machinery, irrigation and water supply systems, seeds, planting material, fertilizers and plant protection means, animals and birds, feed, additives, agricultural and food products, sausages, juices and canned food, financial and bank, consulting, legal services - all of high quality and at most reasonable prices.
The inauguration event was attended by representatives of local public authorities from Balti municipality and Rascani, Sangerei districts, members of the CCI Council of RM and Balti GRL.
The exhibitions-fairs have provided a diverse business program: a round table, discussions, presentations, workshops.
In the round table, over 60 farmers, workers in the agro-food field participated actively in discussions on the following issues:
“Regenerable energy sources in the Republic of Moldova. Perspectives of use” - Vladimir Berzan, Director, Institute of Energy of ASM, Dr. Hab., research professor; Boris Boincean, Chief of Division, PE RIFC “Selectia”, Dr. Hab. in Agriculture, Institute of Energy of ASM;
“Production of solid biomass fuel” - Nicolae Balaban, Chief of Agricultural Machines Laboratory, Institute of Agricultural Engineering “Mecagro”;
“Use of regenerable energy resources in the Republic of Moldova” - Sergiu Bujor, manager, JSC “Moldagrotehnica”;
“Energy efficiency funding credit. New economic agent crediting opportunities” - Aurel Zara, Director, CB “MoldovaAgroindbank” JSC, Balti.
Exhibition program included presentations by institutions and organizations, some of them being accompanied by product tasting: JSC Moldagrotehnica, CB Victoriabank JSC, CPC “Domeniul Plus” LTD, Agropiese TGR Group LTD, LTD Melenas, JSC Lactis, LTD Valul Traian, LTD Los-Transfer, LTD Panif Profit.
Companies FABERLIC and MIRUBA conducted master courses targeting modern face skin and body skin cleaning and care technologies.
In these three days the exhibitions-fairs and the exhibition “Martisor” were visited by specialists in the agro-food field from the northern region of the country and other interested persons, being established many business contacts and signed several cooperation agreements.
