The information campaign in the field of intellectual property for pupils from pre-university education institutions in the Republic of Moldova, launched by the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) on 6 November 2024, continues in 2025 as well.
Since its launch in November 2024, the campaign has so far involved 2,596 pupils from over 20 educational institutions across the country, of which 2,125 participated in 2024, and another 471 benefited from the activities carried out in the first months of 2025. The participating pupils also received promotional materials designed to support their interest in the field of intellectual property and encourage them to get involved in creative and innovative activities.
The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the importance of intellectual property protection among young people, while promoting creativity and innovation in schools.
Under the main title “Creativity and The Role of Intellectual Property”, the campaign will continue to be carried out in several educational institutions across the country until April 2025.
Through this initiative, AGEPI aims to contribute to the development of a culture of innovation and respect for intellectual property among young people. Pupils will have the opportunity to discover and understand how the protection of original creations can influence their professional and personal future. At the same time, the campaign provides them with not only theoretical knowledge, but also concrete examples of the applicability of intellectual property in real life.
AGEPI invites young people across the country to discover how they can become creators and innovators with a real impact on their communities. Together with the Ministry of Education and Research, AGEPI aims to transform knowledge of intellectual property into a basic resource for the professional and personal development of each pupil, thus supporting the creative economy of the Republic of Moldova.
