AGEPI, Partner of the Republican Intellectual Game Championship “Under Guguta’s Cap”

The Republican Center for Children and Youth, in partnership with the Moldovan Intellectual Games Association, organized the final stage of the Republican Intellectual Game Championship “Under Guguta’s Cap”, intended for the 10th-12th grade pupils of the educational institutions of the Republic of Moldova.

The Republican Intellectual Game Championship “Under Guguta’s Cap” is a 6-stage team game. Each stage contains 4 rounds of 7 questions each. 32 teams from the country’s educational institutions participated in the 5 stages of the Championship, held from December 2017 to May 2018. The final stage took place on May 11, at the “ARTICO” Center, in which participated 24 teams of about 160 lyceum pupils from the educational institutions of the country.

In order to increase the level of information of the young generation in the field of intellectual property, to support and stimulate the ideas of creativity and inventiveness of the pupils, the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated as a partner of the final stage of the Republican Intellectual Game Championship “Under Guguta’s Cap”. AGEPI specialists have disseminated information in the field of ​​intellectual property among pupils from the pre-university education institutions of the republic, participants in this competition.

Attending the event, Andrei Popa, Deputy Director General of AGEPI, said that this competition is a good platform for young people to try their powers in the field of intellectual games, but also to exchange ideas. AGEPI will always support inventive and ambitious young people, emphasized Andrei Popa.

The purpose of the Republican Intellectual Game Championship “Under Guguta’s Cap” is to set a value on the cultural heritage of the Republic of Moldova and to cultivate feelings of respect for national values ​​by promoting them in the form of intellectual-entertaining games.
