The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated, with an exhibition stand, in the Research and Innovation Festival “Science for Peace and Development: Creativity, Experience, Perspectives”. At the festive meeting of the event, the award ceremony of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova for valuable results obtained in the fields of social sciences, economic sciences, humanities and arts, as well as for promoting science in the media, took place. The festival aims to promote national research results, stimulate scientific cooperation and create new opportunities for young researchers. Participants can visit the exhibitions at the ASM headquarters or watch online presentations of research and innovation institutions.
Established in the Republic of Moldova by Government decision, this celebration is organized in the context of the International Science Day for Peace and Development, proclaimed by UNESCO on November 2, 2001, with the aim of highlighting the significant role of science in the sustainable development of society, promoting national and international solidarity in overcoming the challenges faced by the respective field. This year’s theme for the International Science Day for Peace and Development is “Trust, Transformation, and Tomorrow: The Science We Need for 2050.”
