The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated on March 13, this year, in the opening of the International Specialized Exhibition “Moldagrotech (spring)”, 43rd edition, which takes place from March 13 to 16, 2024, at Moldexpo. This specialized spring exhibition is organized by the Moldexpo International Exhibition Center, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, and represented an important opportunity for AGEPI to contribute to the promotion and dissemination of information in the field of intellectual property.

AGEPI specialists provided free consultation to the participants on the national intellectual property protection system, with a special focus on the importance of intellectual property protection in the agricultural industry. They also distributed IP leaflets and brochures.

Moldagrotech Spring 2024 gathers over 60 economic agents from the Republic of Moldova, Austria, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Ukraine and Hungary. An increased focus this year is on the digitalization of agriculture, with the presentation of the Smart Agri Arena, a space dedicated to applications, digital solutions and sophisticated technologies for precision agriculture.

The exhibition includes an offer of agricultural machines and equipment, modern technologies, solutions for intensive crop growth, fertilizers, plant protection products and seed material. Equipment presentations will take place on all 4 days of the exhibition until March 16, providing a platform for the exchange of experiences and knowledge between professionals.
