The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) invites interested persons to participate in the 27th edition of the Annual Scientific-Practical Symposium “AGEPI Readings”, with the main title “Intellectual Property - The Engine of Performance and Competitiveness”.
The Symposium is open to both specialists working in the field of intellectual property (IP), as well as representatives of institutions and organizations in the field of science and innovation, central public administration authorities with responsibilities in the field of enforcement of intellectual property rights, authorized attorneys and counselors in intellectual property, inventors, professors, students, master’s students and other interested persons.
The symposium is an annual event that falls within the series of events dedicated to World Intellectual Property Day, marked annually on April 26. This year’s theme is “IP and Sports: Ready, Set, Innovate!”.
The event is a good opportunity to promote new developments in the field of intellectual property, to exchange experience, information and good practices, and to identify new perspectives for the efficient management of the greatest challenges in the field of IP.
The symposium will be structured into three sessions, including a plenary session, during which relevant topics in the field of intellectual property will be addressed, namely: Intellectual Property as a Development Tool: Creativity, Investment and Technology; Capitalizing on intellectual property in sport and the creative industries: successful models; Intellectual Property in Action: Lessons from Global and Local Practice.
The event will take place on April 29, 2026, in a hybrid format, physically in the AGEPI conference room (24, Andrei Doga Street, Block 1, Chisinau) and online on the WebEx platform.
Participation in the symposium is free. The language of communication during the event is Romanian.
