On April 17, 2025, the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) and the Institute for Standardization of Moldova (ISM) signed a Cooperation Agreement, aimed at strengthening inter-institutional cooperation in support of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the business environment of the Republic of Moldova.
The agreement was signed by Eugeniu Rusu, Director General of AGEPI, and Andrian Bunduc, Acting Director of ISM. During the event, the two officials had a constructive discussion on the strategic directions of cooperation and the importance of promoting a culture of standardization and intellectual property protection among SMEs.
The document provides for the identification and implementation of joint activities, including the organization of information events, the development of information materials, the dissemination of relevant publications, and the provision of mutual consultancy and assistance. It also aims to facilitate access to useful information for the development of innovative and competitive capacities of entrepreneurs.
Through this cooperation, AGEPI and ISM aim to create an environment favorable to innovation, creativity and free competition, thus contributing to the economic, social and cultural development of the country.
