The State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova (AGEPI) announces the scientific and innovative community in the republic about launching the sixth edition of the contest “INVENTICA OF THE YEAR”.
The purpose of this contest is to popularize and support of innovational activity in our country, encouraging holders of titles of protection for inventions and utility models regarding the implementation of the intellectual developments results and to drive national investors in the recovery process of innovation in scientific and technical sphere.
In the contest will be accepted inventions disclosed in patents issued by the AGEPI or foreign IP offices during the last 3 years and those who have a positive impact on the national economic development, solving problems related to the current necessities of life, technology, transportation , chemistry, food industry, textile, mechanics, electricity, physics and other fields.
The priority will be given to inventions whose recovery in production has resulted in tangible economic effects. Conditions of the contest are detailed in the Regulation of organization and carrying out of the Competition “Invention of the Year”.
The contest will take place in following nominations:
- “The invention of the year”
- “Invention created by a young inventor”
- “Utility model of the year”
Applications shall be submitted to the Competition Organizing Committee up to May 17, 2010. The winners will be handed their diplomas and awards of AGEPI. The balance of the contest and winners awarding will be held at the Day of Inventor and Rationalizer (June 25).
