A working meeting of the Observatory on Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights (EIPR Observatory) took place on October 1, 2026, at the headquarters of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI).

The meeting was opened by Natalia Mogol, Deputy Director of AGEPI and Chair of the EIPR Observatory, who welcomed the participants and reiterated the importance of this interinstitutional cooperation platform.

The Observatory members reviewed the achievements made and the actions planned for 2026 under the Action Plan on Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement for the 2026–2029 period. A topic discussed in detail was the presentation of statistical data by member authorities within the framework of the European IP Enforcement Statistics mechanism.

Participants also benfited by a training on the use of the “National Trademarks” and “Madrid Monitor” databases, an action provided for in Point 3.7 of the Action Plan.

The EIPR Observatory brings together authorities involved in the enforcement of intellectual property legislation and aims to strengthen cooperation among them to prevent and combat piracy and counterfeiting of intellectual property objects.
