On October 1, 2026, the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated in the Conference “PRO-INDUSTRY DIALOGUE: Catalyst for the Industrial Future of the Republic of Moldova”, 3rd edition, held at Digital Park as part of Moldova Business Week.

The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova in partnership with the Investment Agency, with the support of the project “Strong Businesses and Communities for Moldova”, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Swiss Government, implemented by the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ), and of the Project “Enhancing Women’s Resilience and Excellence through Inclusive and Family-Friendly Employment Opportunities,” funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and implemented by UN Women and UNFPA Moldova, in partnership with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova.

The Conference aimed to strengthen the dialogue between public authorities and the business environment on the prospects of the Republic of Moldova’s industry, identify solutions to boost enterprise competitiveness and formulate courses of action in the field of industrial policy, investment attraction, human capital development, and European integration.

The proceedings included a plenary session dedicated to industry challenges and opportunities, as well as the results of implementing the National Industrial Development Program for 2024–2028, moderated by Sergiu Harea, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova. Two thematic panels followed:

  • Panel 1 – “Innovation, quality and competitiveness: prerequisites for integrating industrial products into European Union markets”;
  • Panel 2 – “Digital transformation of the industry: digitalization and emerging technologies”.

AGEPI participated in Panel 1 with a presentation entitled “Intellectual Property Protection and Leveraging Innovation Results to Boost Industrial Competitiveness”. The session provided a dialogue platform on the tools and opportunities available to strengthen industrial competitiveness through innovation, intellectual property protection, technology transfer, standardization, and quality infrastructure development, within the context of the European Union accession process.

Additionally, AGEPI specialists provided consultancy and conducted activities to promote and disseminate information in the field of intellectual property.

The event brought together approximately 350 participants: entrepreneurs, representatives of public authorities, including high-ranking officials, sectoral associations, research institutions, and development partners.
