The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) invites both specialists working in the field of intellectual property (IP) and representatives of institutions and organizations in the sphere of science and innovation, central public administration authorities with responsibilities in the intellectual property rights enforcement field, authorized attorneys and councelors in intellectual property, inventors, teachers, students, master students and other interested persons to participate in the 25th edition of the Annual Scientific-Practical Symposium “AGEPI Readings”, with the main theme “Building Our Common Future with Innovation and Creativity”. The event will take place on April 25, 2024, in the premises of AGEPI.
The symposium is an annual event that is part of the series of manifestations dedicated to World Intellectual Property Day, marked annually on April 26. This year’s theme is “Intellectual Property and the Sustainable Development Goals: Building Our Common Future with Innovation and Creativity”.
The event is a good opportunity to promote new developments in the field of intellectual property, exchange experiences, information and best practices, identify new perspectives for effectively managing the biggest challenges in the field of intellectual property.
Topics relevant to the field of intellectual property will be addressed during the symposium, namely:
- Intellectual property for sustainable growth and development; Integration of IP rights into national development policies, plans and strategies;
- The role of the IP system in identifying, protecting and preserving national heritage in the context of economic, social and cultural development of the Republic of Moldova;
- National and international experience in protecting and enforcing IP rights through the prism of the European integration process.
Registration of participants will be done by filling in the registration form. Participation in the symposium is free. The event will take place in Romanian, in the conference hall of AGEPI.
The deadline for registration for the Symposium and for submitting communications for presentation within it is April 15, 2024.
