The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) announces the expansion of the range of courses available on the institution’s e-learning platform. The courses, offered by the European Patent Office (EPO), are available in Romanian and cover various aspects of the patent field.

Newly added courses include “Introduction to the Field of Patents and the Patent System”, “Patentability Requirements at the EPO” and “Assessing Patentability Requirements at the EPO”. These modules aim to strengthen the knowledge of specialists from the Republic of Moldova in the field of intellectual property and offer practical tools for understanding the process of obtaining patents at the European level.

Also, new educational sources were integrated on the AGEPI e-learning platform, including the “Intellectual Property Teaching Kit”, translated into Romanian with the support of the EPO. This Kit aims to facilitate access to quality information and develop professional skills in the field of intellectual property (IP).

In addition to the previously mentioned EPO courses, AGEPI has also integrated the materials available in Romanian from the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) on the e-learning platform. These include “IP in Education: Intellectual Property Basics for Teachers” and “Creativity Journal: 21 Days to a More Creative Life”. These resources are intended to educate users on the importance and practical application of intellectual property concepts.

The AGEPI e-learning platform thus becomes a complete source of knowledge in the field of intellectual property, offering both courses and creative materials, adapted for teachers and those interested in exploring the field of IP.

The training resources available on the AGEPI e-learning platform are intended not only for IP specialists, but also for all those interested in this topic. Pupils, students, teachers, researchers, as well as public authorities with responsibilities in the enforcement of intellectual property rights and the business environment are invited to access the platform to enrich their knowledge in the field.

The AGEPI e-learning platform was launched on March 1, 2019 and has continued to develop and adapt over time. It is currently in a continuous process of upgrading to provide up-to-date and relevant IP courses.
