The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated on October 5, this year, in the opening of the International Specialized Exhibition of Products, Equipment and Raw Materials for the Light Industry “FASHION EXPO”, which takes place from 5 to 8 October 2023, at Moldexpo.

AGEPI specialists promoted and disseminated information about intellectual property during the event. They provided free consultation to participants on the national intellectual property protection system. They also distributed flyers and promotional materials to educate the public about the importance of protecting intellectual property in the fashion industry. In addition to these activities, AGEPI specialists invited the participants to participate in the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT”, 18th edition, scheduled for November this year.

The “FASHION EXPO” exhibition, now in its 21st edition, returned after a three-year break. More than 50 manufacturers and distributors from the Republic of Moldova, India and Romania are participating in the event, bringing with them a varied range of products, from machinery and technologies to raw materials and finished products.

In addition, during the four days of the exhibition, Moldexpo hosts a varied program of related activities, which include fashion presentations, interactive master-classes, and consultations from experienced light industry specialists. The event brought together fashion designers from the country and abroad, giving them the opportunity to present their creations in a conducive environment.

On the catwalk, clothing lines from domestic manufacturers will be presented, as well as impressive collections of guests from Italy, Romania and Ukraine. Young designers also have the opportunity to show their creations, including outfits for special occasions and presentations dedicated to the little ones.
