The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) organized on September 27, 2023, a personal development lesson, dedicated to the general aspects of intellectual property protection, for IX-A C-grade pupils from Theoretical Lyceum “Mircea Eliade” in Chisinau.
The pupils had the privilege to listen and interact with Natalia Mogol, Deputy Director General of AGEPI. She shared valuable insights on how intellectual property protection can influence innovation, creativity and the future of every person. Pupils learned about the process of registering trademarks, industrial designs, patents and copyrights, as well as ways of protecting personal creations.
“Protecting intellectual property is essential in our modern society, where innovation and creativity are the basis of progress. Every individual has the potential to make significant contributions to the development of society through innovative ideas and personal creations, and knowing how to protect these resources can make the difference”, emphasized the Deputy Director General of AGEPI in her speech to the pupils.
Pupils had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss specific aspects of intellectual property, which led to engaging and constructive interaction. At the end of the lesson, pupils received informative materials and useful resources to develop their knowledge in this area.
The lesson organized by AGEPI once again demonstrated the Agency’s commitment to educating and informing the public about the importance of protectingintellectual property.
