The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) invites interested persons to participate in an Intellectual Property Workshop for Women Entrepreneurs in the Industrial Design Sector. The event will be held online on April 12, 2023.
The aim of the event is to increase the skills and knowledge in the field of intellectual property protection and management for women in this sector, giving them a platform to share their personal experiences and learn how to increase the value of their creations and inventions. WIPO also wants to promote women’s participation in national innovation systems and the design industry and encourage more effective use of intellectual property.
The following topics will be addressed in the workshop:
- Design and its Place in the Promotion of Women’s Entrepreneurship;
- Overview of the Hague System and its Key Advantages;
- Women’s Contribution to Industrial Design Through IP Data and Statistics;
- Case Study on Business Evolution in the Industrial Design Industry;
- Empowering Women in Industrial Design.
