The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) is organizing on April 27, 2023, in online format, the 24th edition of the annual Scientific-Practical Symposium “AGEPI Readings”. The event is part of the series of events dedicated to World Intellectual Property Day, marked annually on April 26. Women and IP: Accelerating Innovation and Creativity is the theme of World Intellectual Property Day 2023.

Specialists active in the field of intellectual property (IP), as well as representatives of institutions and organizations in the sphere of science and innovation, central public administration authorities with responsibilities in the field of enforcement of intellectual property rights, authorized attorneys and counselors in intellectual property, inventors, teachers, students, masters and other interested persons are invited to participate in the Symposium.

The event is a good opportunity to promote new developments in the field of intellectual property, exchange experience, information and best practices, identify new perspectives for the effective management of the biggest challenges in intellectual property.

During the event, topics relevant to the field of intellectual property will be addressed, including the protection of IP rights and the procedures for granting them, the enforcement of intellectual property rights, the judicial practice in the resolution of conflicts in the field of IP, the economic aspects related to the evaluation and management of intellectual property objects, the modern tools for the exploitation and promotion of intellectual property, etc.

Registration of participants will be done by completing the registration form. Participation in the symposium is free. The event will take place in Romanian, on the WEBEX platform.

The deadline for registration for the Symposium and sending communications for presentation within it is April 10, 2023.
