The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) and the Law Students’ Association (LSA) from the Faculty of Law of the State University of Moldova have joined their forces by signing a Cooperation Agreement, with the aim of ensuring a constructive cooperation in the field of professional training of the members of the Association in matters of intellectual property.

The Agreement provides for the organization and participation in instructive-informative events and seminars in the field of intellectual property, as well as facilitation of LSA members’ access to public information and relevant documentation sources. AGEPI will also provide specialized consultancy in the field of intellectual property, at the request of LSA.

Eugeniu Rusu, Director General of AGEPI, emphasized the importance of the cooperation between the two parties: “We are happy to sign this Cooperation Agreement with LSA, because through this partnership we will increase our efforts to strengthen the professional training capacities of students in the field of intellectual property. By organizing instructive-informative events and training students, we will contribute to the development of solid skills and to the promotion of respect for intellectual property rights in the Republic of Moldova.”

Also, the president of the Law Students’ Association, Vasile Guzun, added: “The signing of this Cooperation Agreement with AGEPI represents an important moment for LSA. Thus, our members will have access to valuable information and resources in the field of intellectual property, which will contribute to the development of their skills and competences in this area of major importance.”
