The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) invites young people passionate about innovation, sports and creation to participate in the World IP Day 2026 Youth Video Competition [1],
a global competition organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), which highlights the connection between intellectual property and innovations in the field of sports.
The theme of this year’s edition – “Game Changers: IP Powering Sports Innovation” – challenges participants to create an original 60 to 90-second video showcasing highlighting how IP rights fuel creativity and progress in sports: from innovative technologies and equipment to digital solutions and branding concepts that transform the experience of athletes and fans.
The competition is open to young people aged 18 to 35, who can participate individually or in teams of up to 10 members. Each participant or team can submit only one work. The deadline for registration and video submission is March 15, 2026. Subsequently, from April 6 to 19, 2026, the public vote will take place to designate the winner of the People’s Choice Prize, and the final results will be announced on April 24, 2026, on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day.
